Apex, North Carolina – Now that 47% of Americans want to include more vegan foods in their diet, this Thanksgiving promises to be the most vegan. To help vacation planners plan their meals, PETA has createdpiegave a list Top 10 Vegan Pies served across the country, and Bonafid Bakery and CafeThe decadent egg and dairy-free creamy chocolate cake has taken over.
“Bonafide Bakeshop & Cafe Vegan Pie, made with rich dark chocolate and oat milk and topped with aquafab whipped cream and covered in a layered crust, is a chocolate lover’s dream come true,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “From double-crust apple to bourbon pecans, PETA celebrates all vegan pies that make it easy to enjoy a delicious vegan feast that leaves cows and chickens alone.”
Vegan desserts are not only free from saturated animal fats and cholesterol, but they also save animals a lot of suffering: in the dairy industry, calves are torn from their mothers shortly after birth, and in the egg industry, chickens are cut off. hot blade when they’re only a few days old.
