Van Horn, TX – Jeff Bezos will go into space in a few days, and PETA is counting down to its local ad campaign, highlighting that clogged meat and dairy arteries can mean a bedroom can’t launch, and that we all need to understand gravity out of this situation: the future of humanity could be in jeopardy if we do not eat properly.
“If all of us Earthlings became vegans, we would stop the negative impact of animal husbandry on this planet, and we would not have to go into space,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA has all the vegan starter kits, recipes, and more you need to get America’s rockets ready to take off.”
Saturated fats in meat, eggs, and dairy products can cause high cholesterol levels, which leads to a buildup of plaque and hardening of the arteries, slowing blood flow to everything organs of the body, not just the heart. Low-fat vegan meals have been shown to address the physical causes of the vast majority of impotence, including high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, prostate cancer or inflammation, and hormonal imbalances. And of course, every person who goes vegan prevents the daily suffering and horrific death of nearly 200 animals every year.
Since Bezos’s launch date (July 20) is also the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, PETA also plans to advertise in Huntsville, Alabama, near the US Space and Rocket Center; in Houston, near the Johnson Space Center; and on Merritt Island, Florida, near the Kennedy Space Center.
PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
