Eating our way to extinction goes straight to work, presenting the audience with some clear and undeniable facts about the devastating environmental impact of global livestock production.
Throughout the film, the use of vivid imagery and easy-to-digest graphics showcases the negative impact that meat, fish and dairy production has on animals, our planet, human health and indigenous peoples outside of the earth.
The rampant destruction of rainforests and ocean ecosystems, which are vital to regulating our planet’s atmosphere, is fueling the climate crisis. According to the United Nations, rising temperatures contribute to environmental degradation, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, food and water insecurity, economic disruption, conflict and terrorism that we see around the world.

Eating our way to extinction lifts the curtain on corruption, revealing that the leaders of the fishing industry have a lot of political influence, but do not seem to care about the people or planet. The filmmakers also deep dive to factory fish farms, where countless animals languish in the muddy puddles of their own waste.
Hearing what the film talks about the global fishing industry, one viewer simply said, “I can’t imagine how anyone would be able to eat fish again after watching this film.”
And the audience will see too so tasty vegan food. Collaborative taste testing with the general public proves that it is nearly impossible to distinguish between animal meat and plant-based meat these days.
Conclusions from Eating our way to extinction
