Southeast, New York – PETA is offering a reward of up to $ 5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of brutality in those responsible for a seriously injured dog found alone on the side of a road.
According to the Putnam County SPCA, the Good Samaritan found a dog – an old, unkempt white and brown American Bulldog – lying by the side of a road near the intersection of Sodom and Brewster Hill at about 4:00 am on Sunday morning. They rushed him to a 24-hour animal hospital, where the veterinarian discovered that he was so underweight that his hips, spine and ribs were visible, and that he had a broken jaw, severe dental disease, mouth masses, long nails. on foot. , swollen paws, and an untreated necrotic mass on his buttocks.
