Season of the Lion has arrived! The fifth sign of the zodiac and the star of the astrological cycle from July 22 to August 23, this summer sign gets its name from the constellation Leo in the shape of a lion. According to Western astrology, birthday determines certain personality traits, and Leo is considered loyal, charismatic, and attractive. The Leo man and his animal counterpart, lions, have much more in common than just their names – take a look at everything that people born under this fire sign and lions seem to have in common. So, believe it or not, stay until the end of this post to see how you can take action for the lions now!

Both lions and lions often have large groups of friends.

Felines usually do not like the company of others – lions, however, prefer to live in groups. Both Lions and Leo People feel no pressure to live up to the status quo! The family lion system, called the pride, may have 40 lions, but most have about 10 members. Most prides are centered around a related group of lionesses, up to three dominant males and cubs of these adult lions. The bond between lions and their need for community reflects the Leo sign’s loyal dedication to large social circles and families.

They say that people with the sign of the Sun in Leo protect their loved ones, and sometimes they are loyal. It is believed that, like lions, Leos put themselves in last place if that means that their loved ones will be one step ahead. However, some horoscopes predict that this is the fall of a loyal Leo, as they often work to their limits.

When Leo loves you, no guessing games are involved.

Lions show affection, as do companion cats, with a lot of head bangs and nudges. On hot days, adult lions can often be seen resting in close proximity to each other, licking and grooming each other’s fur. Cubs spend most of their time playing with their siblings, creating bonds that can last a lifetime.

Like the lion, Leo’s love is considered strong and caring. Leos are considered the natural leaders of the zodiac and often take charge in a group setting. According to Western astrology, an important part of what makes Leo such a natural born pioneer is that he is driven by love for his friends and family. If there is a way to help you achieve your goals, suddenly your dreams will become theirs too, and nothing gets in the way.

Leo can be protected from new people

While friendship and family are central to both lions and their zodiac cousins, both animals can be careful not to let someone enter their inner circle. Some Leos believe that emotional openness can be dangerous because feeling sensitive and anxious is contrary to their charismatic nature.

Likewise, the male lion must defend his pride against rivals who hope to usurp him. Young nomadic males pose a constant threat to the aging alpha, and letting the young lion stay with the maternal pride too long or too close to the nomadic male can lead to a deadly power struggle. Both lions and Leo carefully open up and let others in.

    Party-goer in the spotlight

While some say showy Leos are not trustworthy, they are known to be a little cocky. Like a lion’s mane, Leo’s natural charisma and confidence are always on display. While these qualities make Leo cute, they can also be a hindrance – Leo can find it difficult to “pass out,” and he struggles to move away from his friends to give himself time to relax and recharge.

The lion’s mane has a similar effect – the large dark mane causing lionesses to faint also makes the African lion too hot to be active during the day. This is why male lions are often spotted taking a nap. Some people call the lion lazy because of this, but in reality they are just practicing self-care!

    Lions need our help

Like tigers and bears, lions are often neglected in roadside zoos. Siblings Nala, Leo and Amelia were rescued by PETA from King of tigers villain Jeff Lowe, but there are still lions out there who need help. Simba, the lion kept in the decrepit Tregembo Zoo, is completely alone in a barren aviary, deprived of the family and freedom he needs.

Use some of this characteristic Leo persistence for Simba and other exploited animals. To help, convince Tregembo Animal Park to retire the animals to reputable institutions where they can receive the care they need.
