Mom gives birth to twins, but then her husband sees something strange. Dante and Tabitha the Gunner got married on August 17, 2013, and were eager to start a family straight away. Unfortunately, Tabitha found it difficult to conceive and after a few years, the couple decided to give IVF, which stands for in vitro fertilization, a try. This process involves mature eggs being collected from the ovaries before being fertilized in a lab. The successful embryos are then moved to the uterus.
A cycle of this usually takes roughly three weeks, but it can take longer. After a few unsuccessful tries, the couple received fantastic news. Tabitha was pregnant and with twins. Before we go any further, let’s look at their journey to this place in their lives. Tabitha was born Tabitha Turner to parents Joe and Lindsey.

She grew up on a large farm and loved animals from as soon as she could walk. Tabitha or Tabby, as her parents called her, had a real passion for horses, and even though she lived on a cattle farm, her parents made sure to keep a few around for her.
She’d go out every morning before school and feed and water the horses, and when she came back from school, she’d make sure they were all groomed and blanketed when the weather got cold. One thing Tabitha was was a hard worker. She was an only child, which can be hard for some kids growing up, but Tabitha didn’t mind.
She had her animals and that was all that mattered. Tabby was homeschooled as their farm was in a rural area, and it was more practical than her going away to a boarding school. Tabby was given the option, but she told her parents that she’d rather stay home. So I’m sure you’re wondering how she met Dante. Well, Dante too, was raised on a farm environment, but he was the son of a farm manager.
Unlike Tabby, Dante had three siblings, all boys, and he was the opposite to her. In many ways. He was hardworking like Tabby, but while she was more reserved, Dante was loud and extroverted. Dante went to a local high school, as did all of his brothers, and he was a star football player. He’d been picked to be the next pro player from the town, but unfortunately, an early injury crushed that dream.
Dante didn’t mind too much, though. He loved football, but he loved life on the farm even more. Tabby and Dante met by chance. Tabby’s father, Joe Turner, had put an advert out in the local newspaper asking for someone to work a summer job as a Ranch hand. Dante wanted to see a bit more of the world, and the Turner farm was in the neighboring state.
He broached the subject with his dad, and he was all for it. Dante phoned Joe and got the go ahead to spend the summer working on the cattle Ranch. Both Dante and Tabby were 19 years old at the time to say it was love at first sight would be an understatement. Dante had dated plenty of girls throughout high school, but when he laid eyes on Tabitha, he thought she was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. The feeling was mutual when Tabby first saw Dante.
At first she was shy around him, but they found a bond through their mutual bond of horses and the more time she spent with him, the more comfortable she got. To make a long story short, Dante didn’t just spend the summer there. He worked hard, so Joe was happy to keep him on longer and that meant he was able to spend more time with Tabby. They spent many nights out looking at the stars and grew closer with each day that passed. Finally, Dante asked Tabby to be his girlfriend and she of course, happily accepted.
A few years went by and their relationship still went from strength to strength. And then something amazing happened. Dante proposed a Tabby and she said yes, which was hardly a shock. The two were smitten and ready to start their life together. They had plans to buy the next door farm and renovate the home to make it perfect.
Tabby and Dante put an offer on the property and were successfully able to buy it. Then the real work began. The reason that they were able to afford this property was because it was really quite run down. They had to put in a lot of work before it was the dream they envisioned, but since they were both really hard workers, they didn’t mind. Joe allowed Dante to spend extra hours working on the projects they had to do, and after a few months, Dante and Tabby were able to move in.
Everything was falling into place. They were able to move some animals onto the farm. And then this is when they made the decision to start trying for a family. A year went by and despite multiple pregnancy tests, Tabby wasn’t getting the news she so desperately wanted. She would even have dreams about finding out she was pregnant, only to wake up the next day and be so disappointed.

Dante could see the strain that this was putting on Tabby despite her trying to hide it. She felt guilty that she wasn’t able to give Dante children, but he always assured her that she was enough. After more time trying, they decided to visit a doctor and that was when IVF was suggested. It took three tries before they got the news that they were having twins. Dante and Tabby were ecstatic.
Things were finally all going together, and while they would have happily stayed together regardless of having children, their ultimate dream was always to have kids. Tabby’s pregnancy was rough, to say the least. She had horrific morning sickness and felt so nauseous some days that she couldn’t even go out and check her horses. Dante supported her through all of that and was a doting husband despite being a useless Cook. Dante tried his best to make Tabby’s mom’s famous chicken soup.
Luckily, Lindsay Turner was just a drive away when he messed up. Dante’s family also came to visit as often as they could to help around the farm, but for the most part Dante had it covered. When Tabby was closing in on her due date, she was unfortunately hospitalized after experiencing contractions too early on. It seemed the babies wanted to come out sooner than they were allowed to. This time in hospital was hard for both Tabby and Dante.
For Tabby, it was being away from the farm and Dante of course, and for Dante, it was the two hour drive that he took daily, but both of them knew it was for the best. They had come so far and starting a family and this was the last hurdle before they were able to meet their little bundles of joy.
Tabby was overseeing the nursery being set up and it was good that she did. She was definitely the one with a sense of style between the two and it showed in the room. The walls were painted a gorgeous soft yellow and the two intricately handpainted cribs with a real feature.
They had been a gift from Dante’s father, who was a fine craftsman. Even if the cribs were a bit funny looking, Tabby would never have turned them down. So it certainly helped when they were so gorgeous, truly looking like something out of a magazine. Everything at home was ready and that was needed as the day came that Tabby was induced for labor. Dante had left home at 04:00 A.m.
That morning wanting to make sure that he was with his wife for the whole day and didn’t miss a thing. Tabby was thrilled to have him as her nerves were getting the better of her. Tabby was needing to have a C section as her twins were considered a high risk pregnancy. Dante held her hand throughout the whole procedure and told her how amazing she was. He was her rock and without him, Tabby was certain she wouldn’t have been able to do it alone.
She had had nightmares about going into labor while Dante was 2 hours away and she was so happy that that didn’t happen. First came their son, Colton Ray. He was every bit as perfect as they had hoped. Colton has brilliant blonde hair and his mother’s Crystal blue eyes. He also has Dante’s features.
Then came their daughter, Jessie May. Dante had only felt love at first sight for one person in his life and that was Tabby. But when he saw little Jesse, a wave of the purest love washed over him. He admired his children with such pride before handing them to Abby and that’s when he noticed something. Jessie had a perfect half moon shape on her ankle.
It seemed like a birthmark, but he hadn’t ever seen one so perfect before. And then you won’t believe it. Colton had the exact same birthmark, but opposite. It was truly as though the twins were each other’s halves. Dante pointed out the finding.
And he and Tabby placed the baby’s birthmarks next to each other. And they formed a perfect circle. Then they showed the nurses and they, too, confirmed that they’d never seen twins with matching birthmarks. The babies were also very healthy and were able to go home. The next day, Tabby was over the moon.
To be able to be back on the farm. Living in town just wasn’t for her. So off they headed with Colton and Jesse and toe back home to begin the next phase of their lives. Their story wasn’t quite over yet, though. Because eight months after Jesse and Coleman had been born, Tabby found out she was pregnant.
The family of four was due to become a family of five. And it was nothing short of miraculous. The doctors were even surprised that Tabby was able to conceive naturally. But they felt having the twins may have something to do with it. And can you guess what they named this baby?
Well, angel, of course, since she was nothing short of an angel from above. Some marriages fade. But for Dante and Tabby, their love remained. They, too, were a match made in heaven. And their life on the farm was idyllic.

Jesse, Colton, and angel were raised as Dante and Tabby had been learning the value of hard work and how to care for animals. Fast forward many years. Colton followed in his father’s footsteps, and he was a football star. Unlike his father, Colton didn’t have an unlucky injury. And he had the chance to go pro.
He took the chance and moved out to another state where he was drafted into a professional team. Once he retired, he planned to buy a farm near his parents place. And live out his days in the wide open spaces. Jesse had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. So she moved to the big city to work towards that.
