Bars. There will even be hot dog toys for dogs — read Food Toys, Not Pork Screeching — for anyone with a dog at home.
When: Wednesday 21 July 12:00
Where: Login to Longworth House office building, 1 Independence Avenue SE, Washington
“At the first vegan dog dinner in the US Congress, people thought the vegan was someone from Las Vegas, but today every American brand has a delicious vegan option,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “We join legislators and their staff to celebrate how far the US has come with the world’s largest vegan dog preparation for animals and heart health.”
PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
