Omaha, Nebraska. – This Tuesday, PETA supporters, along with huge, unmissable alpaca, sheep, cow and goose puppets, will create some chaos outside the Urban Outfitters store on Davenport Street and loudly demand that Urban Outfitters and all other Urban Outfitters, Inc brands ., including Anthropologie and Free People, leave alpaca wool, wool, leather, mohair, cashmere to their original owners.
When: 13 July, Tuesday, 12:00
Where: Urban Outfitters, 17255 Davenport St. (at the intersection with Burke Street), Omaha
“Urban Outfitters stores are graveyards of animals that have been beaten, slaughtered and killed,” says PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman. “PETA encourages Urban Outfitters brands to comply with the company’s sustainability and ethical consumer requirements by selling only vegan materials – which would be easy to do because they already have them in stock.”
PETA – whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human excellence. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
