Orlando – “Free me, do not break me!” This is the message that a crying cetacean mascot and a flock of PETA supporters in dolphin masks will be delivering to SeaWorld on Saturday as part of the SeaWorld Boycott Day annual event, which aims to artificially inseminate dolphins and whales at the Marine Park.
When: Saturday, July 24, 10:00 AM
Where: 7007 Sea World Dr., Orlando
“Families would run away from SeaWorld if they knew he was treating gentle, intelligent mothers like breeding machines,” says PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman. “PETA urges SeaWorld to stop creating new generations of exploitable animals by denying them life in the ocean where they can swim freely and choose their mates.”
PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to be used for entertainment” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
