Austin, TX – PETA members will be outside the Ice Cream Museum on opening day to treat people walking or exiting with delicious dairy-free ice cream and generously talk about the taste of vegan desserts and how they do three important things: They prevent mother cows from being separated from favorite calves; Unlike dairy products, their production is not associated with the significant greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to the climate crisis; and they licking falling dairy industry.

“Customers are demanding cow-friendly ice cream, but while the nation’s top stores are catering to demand for vegan varieties, the Ice Cream Museum is in short supply,” says PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman. “PETA’s Giveaway will give people the taste of the delicious vegan ice cream they can find almost everywhere. except in the museum.”
PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat,” is opposed to arrogance, a worldview focused on human excellence.
