Fishers, Ind. – PETA supporters will gather to present the Oscar Mayer to the Vinermobile assassin welcome when he stays at Fishers on Sunday. They will encourage passers-by to be kind to pigs – and avoid the risk of cancer associated with eating hot dogs – by skipping meat sausages and sampling delicious veggie dogs made by Beyond Meat, Field Roast, Lightlife, Tofurky, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, and more.
When: Sunday, June 27, 15.00
Where: 13559 Alston Dr. (near the intersection with Cosel Way)
“Who would want to be Oscar Mayer Wiener if he realized they were made of sensitive pig faces, spleen and other unpleasant body parts?” PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman asks. “PETA will urge families to stay away from the Wienermobile and the francs associated with cancer, diabetes and obesity.”
PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to eat,” is opposed to arrogance, a worldview focused on human excellence. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
