Caroline Buck and Garrett Wymor
Co-founders
Garrett and Caroline are the parents of two rescue puppies, Oscar and Leo, and are passionate supporters of greener, more responsive food. Garrett previously worked in the pet health and nutrition industry, leading front-line projects at the world’s largest pet care company. They founded Petaluma to help other pet lovers provide better care for their pets and the planet.

Dr. Blake Hawley, DVM
Leading Veterinary Nutritionist
Dr. Hawley is a veterinarian who has been developing scientific diets and pharmaceutical products for dogs and cats for over 25 years. He received his Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and has gained in-depth knowledge of nutrition from the development of hundreds of unique diets for dogs.

Dr. Krestel-Rickert has spent over 35 years developing, manufacturing and validating pet food products, including complete diets, supplements and treats. She received her Ph.D. from Purdue University and has worked in R&D departments at some of the world’s largest pet food companies, as well as innovative startups that are creating new approaches to nutrition and agriculture.
