Who can forget when, in 2016, a woman’s discovery of a pig’s nipple still attached to the bacon she was about to cook blew up Reddit by storm, quickly garnering millions of views and forcing some people to give up pig meat. “And… I’m done with bacon,” wrote one Reddit user. “I’ll never eat bacon again. You know I’m vegan now, ”said another.
Now, five years later, the annoying nipple strikes again – this time at a British McDonald’s. Last week, Simon Robinson, a diner patron, discovered a distinct “pork nipple” in his breakfast bacon bun. (It sandwich for U.S. readers.) Not only did the discovery get him thinking about going vegan – the particularly hideous photos of the roll made others on the Internet connect.

“Opening it up and finding it was disgusting,” Robinson reportedly said. “It totally pushed me away from the meat. So much so that I’m thinking about becoming a vegan. “
And Twitter agreed: “1/3 of Twitter just went vegan,” predicted one person after New york post posted a photo of the obvious nipple. Another presented the situation with an important question: “If you choose to eat pieces of dead animals; how can you be surprised when there are pieces of dead animals in it !? “
It’s easy to forget that processed, minced, minced, or nugget-shaped meat is actually the decaying flesh of another creature that was once alive – a creature that could feel pain, grief, motherly love, joy, anxiety, etc. more like us. BLT nipple ingredients, a “Zombie” chicken carcass sliding off the plate of the restaurant, a frozen duck with head attached, a Fish corpse jumping off the kitchen table– these incidents serve as a vivid reminder that no one wants to be killed for food. If you find Robinson’s photographs of “pig nipples” or any of these discoveries “disgusting,” there is only one thing left for you to do: Stop eating animals.

When given the opportunity, pigs play for hours, lie in the sun and explore their surroundings with their powerful sense of smell. But on farms, pigs spend most of their lives in cramped pregnancy boxes that are so small that the animals cannot turn around or even lie down comfortably. They are constantly impregnated until they are slaughtered – and their babies are doomed to endure the same hellish life and horrible death. It doesn’t matter if one of their nipples ends up in your takeout order – pigs don’t deserve to be killed for our food. No animal does. it problem.
