Jennifer Lawrence beamed as she walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new Netflix movie Don’t Look Up, showing her growing baby bump.
On Sunday, December 5, the 31-year-old actress posed for red carpet footage with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. The pregnant actress wore an embroidered Dior dress with cap sleeves.
Lawrence’s beautiful clothes were praised by her fans.
While the 31-year-old pregnant mom has made some rare public appearances in recent years, this weekend’s event marked her first major premiere since Dark Phoenix’s June 2019 release.
“I’m excited to be here with the entire cast. I’m so excited about this movie and people wanting to see it,” the Kentucky resident said at the event, before praising her co-stars. “I mean, Meryl Streep is the greatest actor that ever lived, and seeing her in person just confirms that. I guess I was more starstruck to be around Ariana Grande. Because our worlds don’t really collide with the musicians, and what she does is so different.”
The Silver Linings Playbook star further quipped: “I mean I sound the same, don’t get me wrong – even better. I’m coming out with [an album], You will see it.”
But while praising her co-stars for Entertainment Tonight, Lawrence remained tight-lipped about her parenting aspirations. “I don’t know, I just have to find out”.
The premiere of Don’t Look Up was also attended by the film’s other protagonists, including Meryl Streep and Jonah Hill. Unfortunately, Ariana Grande, who can also be seen in the film, was not spotted at the premiere. Adam McKay directed the highly anticipated film, which is expected to be released in theaters as well as on streaming services.
Lawrence and DiCaprio portray a pair of low-level scientists tasked with alerting humanity to a comet on a colliding path with Earth in the film. And viewers won’t have to wait long to see how they deliver that crucial message — and how humanity has fared.
The film will hit theaters December 10 and will be available on Netflix December 24.
