If Kansas City Security Tyranne Mathieu gets an interception during this year’s Super Bowl, PETA will receive $ 100,000 in aid for dogs in need! This is an offer made by a generous anonymous donor in honor of Mathieu PETA’s long-standing support.
This # Super Bowl the bet could be of immense benefit … for dogs stuck in the street.
The donor will provide PETA with $ 100,000 if @Chiefs superstar safety @Mathieu_Era completes interception on Sunday.
We’ve always been rooting for him, and now we cross our fingers 🤞 https://t.co/4KHzn71lsc pic.twitter.com/28EAgTpaMO

A donation of $ 100,000 will go towards our campaign to help abandoned dogs, for which Mathieu starred in two viral videos.
He baked it in a hot carriage, where dogs can die from heatstroke in a matter of minutes …
… And he shivered in the freezer to show how the dogs suffered when left outside during the cold winter months.
For risking his body to help animals, we honored him with the PETA Humanitarian Award at the age of 40.th anniversary. His teammate Patrick Mahomes presented the award, calling Mathieu “not only the property of our team, but also animals in need of protection.” We totally agree!
“PETA has found Tyranne Mathieu as a selfless dog protector,” says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange. “We will cheer him on this Sunday, knowing how happy he would be to win such a generous donation for the animals abandoned to him.”

Before you watch the big game, take a lookBreaking the chainis a new documentary from executive producer Angelica Houston that follows a PETA field team helping abandoned dogs on chains in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Learn more about the work being done by PETA and Mathieu, including providing free custom-built dog kennels, straw bedding and veterinary services for low-income dogs. And we think you will be inspired to become a dog advocate in your own community as well.
