When you are in a rush in the morning, sometimes breakfast is delayed. That’s why it’s convenient to have vegan options at fast food restaurants and chain restaurants for the most important meal of the day – especially a warm and savory one like a vegan breakfast sandwich. The chains below have listened to customer demand and have introduced meat, egg, and dairy-free breakfast sandwiches that are delicious and satisfying.
Try vegan sandwiches for breakfast at the following popular restaurant chains:
Dunkin
After negotiations with PETA, Dunkin ‘was one of the first to launch Beyond Meat, a delicious vegan sausage breakfast sandwich. Order the Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich without chicken eggs or cow’s milk cheese. Add potato pancakes and oat milk latte for a hearty meal.
Globally Locally
Canadian chain Globally Local offers nine different vegan breakfast sandwiches that are available all day, including Sausage Maple Crunch, which includes sausage patty, tofu egg and potato pancakes with vegan cheddar cheese and maple syrup.
HipCityVeg
This vegan chain has three animal-free breakfast sandwiches: Breakfast Maple Crispy Chick’n, Wake and Bac’n and Sunnyside Sausage, Egg and Cheese.
Peet’s Coffee
The All Plant Based Sandwich at Peet’s Coffee was launched following a push from PETA. It’s vegan without modification, with plant-based egg, Beyond Meat breakfast sausage and Violife vegan cheddar cheese slice on a thin “all” bagel.
Philz coffee
Select Philz Coffee places to serve a vegan breakfast sandwich, as well as Beyond Breakfast sausage patty, vegan cheese and animal-free eggs.
Plant Power Fast Food
This vegan fast food chain in Southern California offers six varieties of vegan breakfast sandwiches, four of which can be served on either an English muffin or a vegan croissant. You can even replace the omelet-style patty with a vegan fried egg.
Starbucks
Several Starbucks establishments are testing a plant-based breakfast sandwich that includes a no-animal breakfast cutlet, a plant-based egg, and melted vegan cheddar cheese on toasted whole wheat English muffin. We’re delighted that Starbucks will expand this offering and reduce the unfair premium for vegan milk.
When you go vegan, you save the lives of nearly 200 animals a year. This includes cows, chickens, pigs, fish, and many other animals that are bred and killed for food. Learn more about the impact of going vegan:
