Toronto – Below you will find a statement from PETA President Ingrid Newkirk in response to the announcement that the Canada Goose will have no fur by the end of 2022:
PETA and its subsidiaries are now suspending their international campaigns against Canada Goose after years of violent protests, violent revelations, celebrity actions and legal battles as the company finally succumbed and stops using fur – safeguarding the sensitive, intelligent, coyotes from being caught and killed in barbaric steel traps. PETA will now re-engage the company in ending the use of feathers, which continue to plague geese and ducks.
